Leeteuk of Super Junior has revealed that he was recently involved in a car accident.

On the 30th, he shared on Instagram, "After finishing my ambassadorship with Porsche, I purchased a Taycan GTS. The car had even completed PPF (paint protection film) work, and it had been exactly two weeks since wrapping filming — it was practically brand-new with just 800 km on it. But I was rear-ended on the highway," along with several photos.

He continued, "It felt like being hit all over with a hammer. The rear of the car was severely damaged, and the repair costs alone are close to 14 million won. My brand-new car instantly became an accident car, and my neck and back are in severe pain from the impact. I am currently going to physical therapy every day."

Leeteuk added, "I was completely off guard and was really shocked. I am juggling preparations for a new album and tour, TV recordings, and nursing my dog Kungi. Given the circumstances around me, I am handling all the accident processing and calls by myself without any involvement from my agency, SM Entertainment. It is a bit overwhelming, but I will bravely see this through to the end."

He also said, "There was a mix-up when ordering the car, so it took a very long time to arrive. As soon as it did, Kungi fell ill and then this accident happened, so I feel this car just is not a good fit for me. Even if I take a loss, I plan to get it repaired and sell it right away."

Fans who heard the news sent messages of support, such as "Wishing you a speedy recovery" and "Hope it gets resolved well."

Leeteuk previously experienced traffic accidents in 2007 and 2011.
