Shock move: Former NCT member Mark is officially gearing up to go fully solo.

On the 3rd, Mark shared on his Instagram a post from a new account called "uprmlable."

The new account appears to be the official SNS for "Upperroom" (UPPERROOM), widely speculated to be his new one-man label. Three short trailers — including a clip featuring Bible verses — have been uploaded, drawing major attention.

Back in April, Mark ended his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment and simultaneously withdrew from all NCT sub-units, shocking fans. At the time, SM Entertainment stated, "We discussed Mark's future direction for a long time and in depth, and by mutual agreement decided to conclude the exclusive contract as of April 8," adding, "Mark will end all NCT activities, including NCT 127 and NCT DREAM."

Fans reacted to the latest update with, "I thought he'd take a break for a while," "So he's continuing with music," and "He really works like an ox" (a Korean idiom meaning he works extremely hard).
