WayV are making a headline-grabbing summer comeback with their 8th mini album 'Vision Wings'.
According to SM Entertainment on July 20, WayV will drop 'Vision Wings' at 6 p.m. KST on August 10 across major music platforms.
This marks their first new release in eight months since last December’s winter special album 'Eternal White' (白色定格). The mini album features seven genre-spanning tracks, including Chinese and English versions of the title track '鸢 (Yuan, Vision Wings)'.
Notably, the project plays on Chinese homophones pronounced 'yuan' — '鸢' (black kite), '源' (origin), '圆' (wholeness), '元' (beginning), '愿' (wish), and '园' (paradise) — using each as a track keyword to deliver a message about the fundamental force that drives WayV.
WayV is an NCT unit that debuted in 2019, based in the Chinese-speaking market, and they remain active across Korea and Greater China.
