Hyolyn, formerly of SISTAR, was discharged today after 10 days in the hospital following an emergency health scare, her agency confirmed.
On June 5, her label ReH Entertainment stated, "Hyolyn has recovered and was safely discharged today."
On May 27, just before her scheduled appearance at the Taipei Festival in Taiwan, Hyolyn experienced sudden health issues and was rushed to the hospital. At the time, the agency explained that an emergency had occurred, making it difficult for her to proceed with her planned schedule. Following doctors’ advice, she was hospitalized, focusing on rest and recovery, and was discharged after about 10 days as her condition improved.
With news of her discharge, attention has turned to when she might resume activities. While the agency did not reveal a specific timetable, Hyolyn is expected to prioritize recovery for the time being and monitor her condition.
Debuting with SISTAR in 2010, Hyolyn earned massive love with multiple hits, including ‘So Cool,’ ‘Loving U,’ and ‘Alone.’
After SISTAR, she promoted as part of the unit SISTAR19 and as a soloist, steadily connecting with music fans. Last year, she released the digital single ‘SHOTTY,’ continuing her active music career.
