NCT member Jaehyun has fulfilled his mandatory military duty and is back by fans’ side.

On the morning of May 3, Jaehyun completed his service with the ROK Army band and was honorably discharged.

After entering the Army training center in November 2024 and finishing basic training, he served for about 18 months in the Army band. Within NCT, he became the second member to complete service, following Taeyong, who was discharged in December 2025.

Debuting with NCT in 2016, Jaehyun has been active across units like NCT 127 and NCT U as a vocalist, and before enlisting, he also expanded into acting through the film You Will Die in 6 Hours and the drama Dear.M.

Currently, fellow NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo are serving in the military.

Meanwhile, NCT is ramping up its 10th‑anniversary project ‘NCT 2026’. Expectations are high for Jaehyun to rejoin full‑scale activities and return to fans following his discharge.
