Yoon Ji-sung, the singer-actor formerly of Wanna One, is taking on a bold new acting challenge, playing dual roles in the world-premiere original musical.

On the 25th, producer Red & Blue Co., Ltd. revealed Yoon Ji-sung’s character poster as Jacopo via the official social media for the musical Portrait of a Boy.

In the newly released poster, Yoon Ji-sung pairs a white shirt with a gray vest for a neat look, offering a gentle smile to the camera. His clear gaze and signature pure, delicate aura capture Jacopo’s innocent yet free-spirited charm, instantly drawing eyes.

Fans reacted hotly: "Are we really meeting a beautiful boy like this in the theater?", "The poster’s vibe is truly insane", and "He totally looks like a teenager—such a baby face."

Portrait of a Boy centers on the mystery surrounding the restoration of painter Marcello’s lost masterpiece, 'Portrait of the Baron.' Following a strange signature and traces of overpainting discovered by a modern restorer, the story uncovers the life and truth of a hidden female artist inside a 1530 Venice portrait.

Within the show, Yoon Ji-sung traverses past and present, portraying the boy Jacopo and modern art dealer Nicola, steering the main narrative with a layered dual-role performance.

After a successful stage debut in 2019 with The Days, Yoon Ji-sung built a solid stage filmography through Return, Something Rotten!, and Happy Oh! Happy. He has also been active on screen with dramas like Thundercloud Rainstorm and Adieu Solo. Expectations are high for the bold transformation he will showcase in this new work.

Meanwhile, the time-spanning musical Portrait of a Boy, which teases a captivating story crossing 500 years, will run from July 28 to October 18 at Daehakro TOM Theater 2.
