On June 21, top comedian Yoo Jae-suk made a surprise visit to junior comedian Kim Na-hee’s musical venue, dropping by the backstage to show support—and fans are buzzing over the heartwarming move.

That day, Kim Na-hee shared behind-the-scenes photos from the musical Granny Poetry Club on her Instagram. Showing off boxed lunch gifts prepared by fans, she wrote, "My lovely fans prepared boxed lunches. Everyone said they were so delicious. Thank you."

She also introduced an unexpected VIP guest, revealing, "Today, senior Yoo Jae-suk came to see the show. I’m just honored," alongside photos of Yoo Jae-suk at the venue.

In the photos, Yoo Jae-suk visits the dressing room in a relaxed look—navy cap, blue shirt, and jeans. He posed for a group shot with Kim Na-hee and the musical cast, cheering on the performance. Standing side by side with Kim Na-hee, he struck a warm, friendly pose that made the moment even sweeter.

Yoo Jae-suk and Kim Na-hee share a senior-junior bond from KBS. Yoo debuted through KBS’s 7th open recruitment in 1991, while Kim Na-hee came from the 28th class in 2013. Despite his hectic schedule, Yoo’s in-person support drew praise from netizens: "As expected of Yoo Jae-suk," "A true senior’s support," and "So heartwarming."

Meanwhile, Granny Poetry Club, which stars Kim Na-hee, is an original musical based on the true stories of grandmothers who learned Hangul later in life and discovered a new world through literacy. More than 20 self-written poems by real adult literacy students are reimagined as musical numbers, delivering the joy of learning and the power of expressing one’s life on stage. The production runs through the 28th at the Haneul Theater, National Theater of Korea, in Seoul.
