Actress Kim Si-a has signed an exclusive contract with Baro Entertainment, the agency representing Byeon Woo-seok, kicking off a bold new chapter.
On the 18th, Baro Entertainment announced it had recently inked an exclusive deal with Kim Si-a. The agency stated, "We are thrilled to work with Kim Si-a, who beat 600-to-1 odds at debut and proved her standout acting talent," adding, "Despite her young age, she delivers profound inner emotion and the power to carry scenes. We will fully support her as a strong partner so she can showcase her abilities to the fullest."
Kim Si-a debuted in 2018 with the film Miss Baek. Even in her first project, she left a strong impression with a powerful yet delicate performance, winning the Child Actor Award at the 29th Golden Cinematography Awards and Best Actress at the 3rd Sharm El Sheikh Asian Film Festival, quickly rising as a breakout rookie. She has since expanded her filmography through steady work, appearing in Netflix titles like Kill Boksoon, Kingdom: Ashin of the North, and If Wishes Could Kill.
Now teamed with her new agency, Kim Si-a is also set to return to the big screen. On June 24, she will unveil another transformation as the lead, Yeoreum, in the film Summer's Camera. Summer's Camera follows Yeoreum, who picks up her late father's camera—his keepsake—after falling for Yeon-woo at first sight, and confronts memories from her father's high-school days.
Baro Entertainment, where Kim Si-a has newly signed, is a comprehensive entertainment company that runs both management and film/TV production. Its roster includes Jin Goo, Byeon Woo-seok, Gong Seung-yeon, and Lee Chae-min.
