Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 23rd that it selected Felix as its new global model.
Alongside the news, the brand dropped two teaser videos on its official social channels featuring Felix. Each clip delivers a different vibe, spotlighting his versatile charm while amping up anticipation for BBQ’s new menu.
BBQ said it aims to communicate its brand identity more directly to global consumers through this model selection, and will strengthen its status as a premium K-chicken brand via diverse marketing campaigns with Felix, including upcoming new menu launches.
Felix’s genuine love for BBQ also played a role. He’s widely known as a “real fan,” having recommended items like ‘Crunch Butter Chicken’ and ‘Jamaica Sotteok-Manna Chicken’ (a sausage-and-rice-cake combo-inspired flavor) on fan community platforms.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids—Felix’s group—continues its global dominance, earning eight consecutive No. 1s on the Billboard 200. Felix has also become a go-to face for global brands, drawing major industry attention.
