Actress Kim Hye-jun is set to play a next-level "successful fan" who even lands a job just to see her bias, Cha Woo-min, up close.
On the 29th, tvN's new Monday–Tuesday drama My Bias, My Boss unveiled its "successful fan" teaser video.
The teaser captures Nam Dareum (played by Kim Hye-jun) living a dreamlike daily life with a playful vibe. When Lee Chan (played by Cha Woo-min) hits the stage, she shouts, "I love you, D.N.X," putting her stan pride on full display.
In the story, Nam Dareum is a passionate fan of idol group D.N.X. Determined to meet her bias, Lee Chan, she joins Apello, the fashion platform he founded. With the narration, "Go to a concert to see your bias? I clock in to see mine," the scene shifts to the office. Swapping a light stick for an employee ID around her neck, she introduces herself: "Starting today, I'm a member of my bias's company, Nam Dareum." D.N.X's music plays throughout the office, and Lee Chan's posters cover the walls, creating a concert-like atmosphere.
After the teaser dropped, netizens reacted with mixed takes like, "Isn't this the worst decision?", "That's the dream—turning your stan-life into your job", "Can't wait for Kim Hye-jun as a rookie employee", and "This is going to be adorable."
Meanwhile, the office coming-of-age romance about a new hire who becomes a working adult just to meet her idol, My Bias, My Boss, premieres on August 3 at 8:50 p.m.
