Actor Choi Hyun-wook (25) is going viral for a friendship that bridges a 38-year age gap with Heo Jun-ho (63).

The two co-star in the Netflix series Notes From the Last Row, which was released on the 26th of last month.

Heo Jun-ho posted a photo with Choi Hyun-wook on his Instagram, seemingly taken on set. Choi drew fans’ attention by commenting, "I love you," showing just how close they are.

In the series, Heo plays a successful author and college classmate of Heo Mun-oh (played by Choi Min-sik). Radiating the composure and confidence of a star writer, he is the one-sided rival whom Mun-oh secretly admired and envied, and the very person who left him with a lifelong inferiority complex.

Meanwhile, Choi plays Mun-oh’s student. Sitting in the very last row of Mun-oh’s classroom with an enigmatic presence, he shows standout writing talent even among literature majors, yet he’s an engineering undergrad and a key figure in the story.

Netizens reacted enthusiastically, leaving comments like, "If you film back-to-back projects together, I guess you can get this close," and, "Their chemistry is totally different from the drama."

Meanwhile, the two are also set to appear together in the soon-to-be-released Portraits of Delusion and Hon: Samgakui Sigan, heightening expectations.
