NCT’s Johnny shared his thoughts on the idol web novel 'If I Can’t Debut, I’ll Die' (nicknamed 'Demotjuk').
On June 30, Johnny and DAWN appeared on Jang Do-yeon’s YouTube talk show 'Salon Drip'.
Discussing web fiction first, Johnny said, "I recently started webtoons too. I watch 'Demotjuk' (short for 'If I Can’t Debut, I’ll Die')."
Jang Do-yeon then asked, "As someone currently in the industry, what do you think about the realism in 'Demotjuk'?" Johnny replied, "Some parts are exaggerated, and some are spot-on, so it really makes me mad," drawing laughs. He explained he felt that way when seeing himself reflected through the idol protagonist and in the portrayal of fans’ reactions.
