Netflix’s dating reality Better Late Than Single is back for a second season. Returning as the 'Some Makers,' Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji, and Car, the garden are promising even more next-level obsession and unapologetic backseat coaching.

On the 1st, a press conference for Better Late Than Single 2 was held at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery. Directors Kim No-eun and Won Seung-jae, along with Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji, and Car, the garden, attended to talk about the new season.

Better Late Than Single 2 is a makeover-style dating reality show that follows lifelong singles with no dating experience as they chase their very first romance, brimming with anticipation. The cast craft their first love stories at their own pace and in their own way, showing awkward yet heartfelt emotional growth. Riding the success of Season 1, the series returns after a year with even more unpredictable episodes and highly relatable moments.

Car, the garden explained his reason for rejoining Season 2 with trademark humor. "The cast always cause chaos — that’s what I was looking forward to," he said, adding, "The staff and cast treat us better than anyone we’ve met on set. There’s so much good food and even private waiting rooms. Thanks to all the consideration, I decided to come back," drawing laughs.

He also expressed genuine affection for the participants. "This season, I ended up watching with an even more heartbreaking feeling," he said. "You know that 'swamp of delusion'? They overthink, and after getting rejected once, they shrink back too much — it was heartbreaking." He added, "If you don’t communicate well, nothing happens. I kept wishing they’d speak up, and I even threw in advice telling them to just go for it."

Lee Eun-ji also radiated confidence about Season 2. "There’s an unwritten rule in dating shows: Season 2 is the most fun," she said. "After filming, it turned out even more entertaining and sincere than Season 1," she added.

Meanwhile, Better Late Than Single 2 premieres on Netflix on July 7. The show is planned for 10 episodes to be released over four weeks.
