Actors Gong Hyo-jin and Jung Joon-won transform into a married couple in MBC’s new Friday–Saturday drama Married Woman Killer.

On the 1st, the Married Woman Killer production team unveiled new stills. The photos spotlight the everyday life of married couple Yoo Bona (Gong Hyo-jin), a sniper, and Kwon Tae-seong (Jung Joon-won), a reporter, drawing attention.

Their warm hugs and bright smiles are heartwarming—yet a subtle tension runs underneath, hinting they may be hiding something.

Premiering July 31 at 9:50 p.m. KST, Married Woman Killer follows a working mom with the most lethal job imaginable as she fights to protect her work–life balance. In the series, Gong Hyo-jin’s Yoo Bona is Kingfisher, a killer who takes down criminals, while at home she’s a loving wife. By contrast, Jung Joon-won’s Kwon Tae-seong is a hard-charging investigative reporter who appears as a doting husband in front of his wife.

The production team commented, "The couple chemistry between Gong Hyo-jin and Jung Joon-won—and their sweet yet deadly double lives—are major viewing points of the show. Please look forward to the couple’s warm daily moments and the dangerous partnership between a killer and a reporter, which will deliver both fluttering excitement and gripping tension."

Meanwhile, the two have an eight-year age gap. Still, reactions include, "You can’t even tell the age difference" and "Already hyped."
