Stray Kids member Seungmin will continue treatment following an ankle fracture.
On July 2, JYP Entertainment announced via its official social media accounts, "As previously shared, Seungmin is continuing treatment based on medical advice," adding, "He is currently focusing on rest and treatment."
The agency continued, "Accordingly, during this period, Seungmin either did not attend certain filming schedules or took part only minimally, prioritizing the injured area above all else. We ask for fans' understanding, as his participation may also be limited in some upcoming content set to be released."
They added, "Although Seungmin expressed a strong desire to keep promoting, after thorough discussions we decided on this course so he can return to fans healthy as soon as possible. We will continue to monitor the artist's condition and recovery for all major official schedules going forward, and will provide separate updates if anything changes."
Seungmin visited the hospital in March due to pain in his left ankle and was advised of a possible stress fracture, receiving consistent treatment since. After additional testing, he was ultimately diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left ankle, sparking concern among fans.
