Actor Woo Do-hwan directly reassured worried fans about the potential explicitness of his next project — a move that showcased his major love for fans and quickly went viral.

On July 2, reports confirmed that Woo Do-hwan will star in SBS’s new drama Flowers Are Bait, slated to air in the first half of next year.

Based on a web novel of the same name, Flowers Are Bait follows Kwon Chae-woo (played by Woo Do-hwan), a born psychopath, and So I-yeon (played by Chae Soo-bin), an arborist who doesn’t believe in love, as their fates become dangerously entangled.

After the casting news broke, some fans raised concerns because the original web novel carries a 19+ rating in Korea. Aware of the buzz, Woo Do-hwan personally clarified the same day on the actor-only fandom platform High&: "The script isn’t racy." He added, "We should make it so even our little ones can watch. Adults and little ones — how cute," easing fans’ worries.

Netizens reacted warmly: "So he calls minor fans little ones and adult fans adults?", "It’s so sweet and cute how he’s easing fans’ concerns," and "I’m already excited for the drama."

Meanwhile, anticipation is building for Woo Do-hwan’s small-screen return in Flowers Are Bait, with Chae Soo-bin confirmed as his co-star, heightening interest in the pair’s on-screen chemistry.
