After 14 years, singer KCM is finally holding an official wedding to keep the promise he made to his wife.
On the 6th, KCM’s agency A2Z Entertainment announced, "KCM will hold his wedding on October 4 at Sebitseom Floating Island in Seoul." KCM and his wife, Bang Ye-won, who are already legally married, will at last walk down the aisle in front of family and friends.
Through his agency, KCM shared, "I’m happy I can keep my promise to my wife after 14 years." He added, "I owe it all to my wife, who quietly endured the hard times, and to our three children, who gave me courage at every moment," expressing gratitude to his family.
He concluded, "This wedding is both a vow to spend the rest of my life for my family and an occasion to thank the people who are dear to us," adding, "I am sincerely grateful to the fans who have supported us unwaveringly for so long."
The couple welcomed their first daughter in 2012. However, due to KCM’s military service at the time and business setbacks, among other personal difficulties, they couldn’t hold a wedding. They later registered their marriage in 2021, becoming a legal couple. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic then, they couldn’t host a formal ceremony and instead held a small vow ceremony with family, promising to have a proper wedding later. That promise is becoming reality after 14 years.
After their first daughter, they welcomed a second daughter in 2022 and a son in 2025, becoming parents of three.
Meanwhile, alongside his music career, KCM appears on the KBS2 variety show The Return of Superman, sharing his everyday life as a father of three.
