Fresh off his wedding, singer-actor Ok Taecyeon stirred buzz with unapologetically blunt comments about whether his fellow 2PM members will ever get married.
On the July 6 broadcast of the SBS variety show uh, but like, seriously!, 2PM’s Jun.K, Nichkhun, Ok Taecyeon, Jang Wooyoung, and Hwang Chansung appeared and got real about dating and marriage.
Lee Su-ji said, "2PM are getting up there now," and asked Nichkhun, Jang Wooyoung, and Jun.K if they were dating. Jang Wooyoung replied, "Of course you should date," while Nichkhun openly admitted, "I want to."
She then asked, "Including Junho, who do you think will be the last to get married among the members?" Boom chimed in, "I bet there’s a member who’ll stay single to the end." Ok Taecyeon didn’t hold back: "I always tell people this — I don’t think these guys will get married." Jun.K immediately shot back, "Don’t say something that outrageous. It’ll happen someday. Just because you did it, doesn’t mean we can’t," drawing laughter. Taecyeon coolly replied, "Fighting," keeping the jokes rolling.
Jun.K also shared a story about an ex-girlfriend. When Lee Su-ji asked, "Have you ever gone to your ex’s wedding?" he recalled, "I suddenly got a call from an unknown number. It turned out to be my ex, saying she was getting married." He added, "She said she felt she had to tell me directly. I was so shocked, but I said, 'I see, congratulations,' and hung up." He admitted the call really startled him.
That moment followed him into music. "I imagined that wedding and started writing, and based on that, I made a song called 'Wedding,'" Jun.K revealed, catching attention.
Meanwhile, 2PM debuted in 2008 and the members are each active in music, acting, and more.
