SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama Agent Kim Reactivated has once again set a new personal-best rating.
According to Nielsen Korea on July 19, Episode 8 of Agent Kim Reactivated, which aired on the 18th, recorded a nationwide rating of 23.1%. That’s up 1.2 percentage points from Episode 7 (21.9%), putting it within striking distance of the No.1 spot among SBS Friday-Saturday dramas.
Episode 8 followed Kim Bu-jang (So Ji-sub) as he took on the mission to protect Ri Eung-ryeong (played by Lee Jae-yong), who defected from North Korea—forcing him to confront an old nemesis. The nail-biting episode kept viewers on the edge of their seats right up to the end.
All eyes are now on whether Agent Kim Reactivated can surpass the SBS Friday-Saturday ratings record held by The Penthouse 2: War in Life at 29.2%. The drama airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. KST and is also available on Netflix.
