Actor Jung Joon-won has signed an exclusive contract with COMPANYON, kicking off a new chapter.
On the 20th, COMPANYON announced its exclusive deal with Jung, stating, "We’re excited to work with Jung Joon-won, who has showcased versatile performances across genres with solid acting chops and natural charm." The agency added, "As an actor with boundless potential, Jung will receive our full support so he can take on more diverse projects and activities moving forward."
Since his 2015 debut, Jung has steadily built his filmography across film and television. In particular, in the 2025 tvN drama Resident Playbook, he left a strong impression on viewers as Gu Do-won, the senior OB-GYN resident.
His next project is already set. Jung will appear in the MBC drama Married Woman Killer, which premieres on the 31st. He plays Kwon Tae-seong, a devoted family man and principled reporter. He’s expected to showcase another acting transformation, balancing complex emotions with heartfelt family warmth.
Through his new agency, Jung shared, "I’m looking forward to creating great synergy with COMPANYON," adding, "I’ll stay humble and work even harder to take on a wide range of characters as an actor."
Founded in 2021, COMPANYON is a management agency representing actors including Lee Je-hoon, Kim Sung-kyu, Kim Eun-bi, and Lee Dong-hwi.
