Netflix has officially denied the swirling production buzz about Season 2 of the hit series Teach You a Lesson.
On the 21st, a Netflix representative told multiple outlets, "There are currently no set plans for Teach You a Lesson Season 2."
The show teased the start of a new case in its Season 1 finale, fueling persistent Season 2 rumors, but Netflix appears to be maintaining a cautious stance.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, the series follows the National Teacher Protection Bureau, established to defend South Korea’s collapsing education system. Kim Mu-yeol led the drama as inspector Na Hwa-jin, with powerful performances by co-stars Lee Sung-min, Jin Ki-joo, and Pyo Ji-hoon boosting its popularity.
Notably, Teach You a Lesson topped Netflix’s Global Top 10 (Non-English) for four consecutive weeks. According to Netflix’s '2026 First-Half Viewership Report,' it racked up 48.2 million views in just one month, ranking sixth overall.
