Actor Lee Dong-hwi and comedian Kim Won-hoon are joining MBC’s new variety show Sora and Jinkyung as studio MCs, promising high-energy reactions and sharp commentary.
Sora and Jinkyung is a reality variety series that follows first-generation supermodels Lee So-ra and Hong Jin-kyung—icons of the 1990s—as they take on the runway once again. Centered on their bold return to the very stage where they once poured out their fiery passion, the show aims to deliver fresh emotion and edge-of-your-seat tension.
With Lee Dong-hwi and Kim Won-hoon stepping in as studio MCs, viewers have another major reason to tune in. Leveraging his long-time friendship with Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Dong-hwi is set to deliver unfiltered wit alongside heartfelt advice. Known for his strong fashion sense, he’s also expected to add depth by analyzing the duo’s runway performances with a more professional eye.
Kim Won-hoon, who also shares ties with Lee So-ra, will bring quick-thinking humor and a trendy touch. His upbeat reactions—powerful enough to match the charisma of these legendary models—will lift the studio vibe and help capture younger audiences.
The production team shared, "The two MCs’ highly immersive reactions as they witness Lee So-ra and Hong Jin-kyung’s fierce journey back to the runway will be a key source of fun," adding, "We’ll deliver the on-site tension and heat to viewers with even greater realism."
Meanwhile, Sora and Jinkyung premieres on the 26th at 9:10 p.m.
