The new romantic comedy starring Ahn Hyo-seop, Chae Won-bin, and Kim Bum has finally been unveiled.

Premiering on the 22nd, SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama Sold Out on You (nicknamed 'Omaejin' in Korea) kicked off with explosive buzz. According to Nielsen Korea on the 23rd, its first episode scored a 3.3% nationwide rating, 3.7% in the Seoul metropolitan area, and peaked at 4.5%, signaling a solid start.

The episode centered on the contrasting life stories of Matthew Lee (played by Ahn Hyo-seop) and Dam Ye-jin (played by Chae Won-bin). Their extraordinary first encounter in the middle of a rice paddy brought both tension and laughs. The sharp contrast between home shopping show host Dam Ye-jin, who is fighting to reclaim prime-time slots, and Matthew Lee’s peaceful yet busy countryside routine kept viewers hooked.

As Matthew Lee was driving his tractor as usual, he ran into a red sports car blocking the entrance to Deokpung Village — and its driver turned out to be Dam Ye-jin. Their fierce standoff on a narrow country road, with neither willing to yield an inch, amped up curiosity about the chaotic romance to come.

Then came a new crisis: Home shopping division chief Dong Hyun-gi (played by Shin Dong-mi) assigned Dam Ye-jin the heavy mission of onboarding the global skincare brand Letual. For Dam Ye-jin, who has long avoided beauty products due to past trauma, it was no easy task — but as she teamed up with Eric Seo (played by Kim Bum) to find a breakthrough, the plot drew viewers in even deeper.

Right after the premiere, online communities and social media flooded with reactions like "This is basically Kim Bum’s face-showcasing drama," "It’s been so long since a rom-com this good," "The directing is insane," and "The birth of a new healing rom-com," fueling sky-high expectations.

Meanwhile, with the impeccable synergy of Ahn Hyo-seop, Chae Won-bin, and Kim Bum, 'Omaejin' airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 p.m. on SBS.
