In a shocking turn, girl group I.C.U has officially announced its disbandment, bringing their group activities to an end.
Recently, their agency Liz Entertainment shared an official statement confirming the breakup.
I.C.U operated under a unique "enrollment and graduation" system, with members joining and leaving over time. The agency stated, "I.C.U has been run based on an enrollment and graduation system, and we have worked with the members for as little as three years and as long as six years." They continued, "Most members have now graduated, and only one member remains. With no further enrollments planned, we are officially announcing I.C.U's disbandment."
The agency added, "We will forever cherish the love, support, and precious memories you have given I.C.U," and continued, "We sincerely thank everyone who loved and supported I.C.U."
I.C.U debuted in 2019 with the digital single 'CUPID'. They later released tracks including 'Ice Cream', 'Look at Me', and 'Anti Hero'.
With the group winding down after years of activity, the members are expected to embark on new individual paths.
