BTS are continuing their latest era not as a single moment, but as an ongoing wave—one that keeps building even after release.

According to Hanteo Chart on March 27, their fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG’ recorded 4,169,464 copies in first-week sales, marking the group’s highest figure to date. The number reflects not just immediate demand, but sustained momentum across the release window.

The scale of the opening was already evident on day one, when the album moved nearly 4 million copies. From there, the trajectory continued upward, signaling a comeback that didn’t taper after its initial surge.

Beyond physical sales, the album is also maintaining a strong presence across global platforms. It has reached the top of Apple Music charts in over 100 regions, while the title track ‘Swim’ continues to hold its position on Spotify’s global rankings days after release.

At the center of the album is a theme that leans into movement and persistence—captured through ‘Swim,’ which frames forward motion not as triumph, but as something ongoing.

Extending that idea, BTS released a remix album, ‘Keep Swimming,’ on the same day. The project reinterprets the title track through multiple versions, including member-focused arrangements, offering a different way of engaging with the same core sound.
