Kim Seon-ho is continuing his activities with a new variety show appearance, even as controversy surrounding him remains ongoing.

On April 2, Coupang Play confirmed that the healing-themed baking variety show Bonjour Bakery will premiere on May 8. The program is set in a countryside dessert café that welcomes guests aged 65 and older, focusing on shared stories and interactions.

The cast includes Kim Hee-ae, Cha Seung-won, Lee Ki-taek, and Kim Seon-ho. Within the show, Cha Seung-won takes on the role of a patissier, Lee Ki-taek assists in the kitchen, Kim Hee-ae serves as general manager, and Kim Seon-ho works as a barista engaging with guests.

Ahead of filming, the cast reportedly underwent hands-on training in baking and coffee preparation to better prepare for their roles.

Kim Seon-ho has remained active across various fields, including theater, fan meetings, and ongoing filming projects. He is currently appearing in the play Secret Passage and is scheduled to meet fans on April 11 and 12. Upcoming works include projects on TVING, Disney+, and tvN.

Previously, he faced controversy over alleged tax-related issues tied to a family-run corporation, including payroll processes and corporate card usage. His agency stated that the matter stemmed from operational inexperience and that necessary procedures are being addressed.

Meanwhile, Kim has shared in interviews that he aims to continue taking on projects that focus on human-centered storytelling.
