Actors Kim Go-eun and Kim Jae-won are set to spark an unpredictable ‘love-hate romance.’
On April 13, the TVING original series 'Yumi’s Cells 3' unveiled new stills of Yumi (Kim Go-eun) and Soon-rok (Kim Jae-won) in a playful tug-of-war over bungeoppang, a fish-shaped pastry.
The images show Yumi and Soon-rok locked in a tense standoff over a single pastry. Yumi’s pleading expression contrasts with Soon-rok’s unreadable poker face as he holds a rare strawberry cream bungeoppang, creating both humor and tension. In another still, Yumi manages to snatch the pastry while Soon-rok appears visibly flustered, adding to the chaotic dynamic between them.
The production team shared, “With Soon-rok—the man who disrupts Yumi’s peaceful daily life—entering the picture, even the Cell Village falls into chaos. Please look forward to an off-the-charts love-hate romance between Yumi, who still struggles with love, and Soon-rok, a homebody and strict principlist.”
'Yumi’s Cells 3' premieres on TVING with two episodes every Monday at 6 p.m. KST starting April 13, and airs on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. KST.
