So Ji-sub’s Agent Kim Reactivated is sparking a full-on frenzy both in Korea and worldwide.

According to Netflix’s official site Tudum on the 8th, the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Agent Kim Reactivated racked up 10.5 million cumulative views from June 29 to July 5, taking No. 1 on the Global Non-English TV chart. It also hit No. 1 in 11 countries — including Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Bolivia, and Peru — and entered the Top 10 in 79 countries, cementing a standout run in the global market.

Agent Kim Reactivated, based on the webtoon of the same name, follows a former special agent who lives as Section Chief Kim (played by So Ji-sub) to protect his daughter. Blending fierce fatherly love, instant smackdowns of villains, and exhilarating action, the show scored high ratings in just four episodes. It currently holds the highest drama ratings of the year and is drawing focus as the first miniseries in two years to surpass 20% viewership.

Meanwhile, the revenge-driven action series about ex-special agent Kim unleashing his hidden combat instincts to save his kidnapped daughter airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. on SBS and is also available on Netflix.
