Actor Jung-hyun Kim is set to make his musical debut with ‘The Days,’ as the production unveiled scenes from its first script reading.

On the 20th, the team behind the musical ‘The Days’ released photos from a cast-and-crew gathering attended by the principal actors and production staff.

The images show the cast during their initial table read, where they demonstrated focus and engagement with the material. Despite it being their first session together, the actors displayed a strong level of immersion, drawing attention to the upcoming production.

This season of ‘The Days’ brings together both returning performers and newly joined cast members. In the role of Jung-hak, Ki-joon Eom, Su-young Ryu, Jin-hyuk Choi, and Jung-hyun Kim will take on the character, while Mu-yeong will be portrayed by Kyu-won Park, Si-yoon Yoon, Sandeul, and Seon-ho Yoo.

Meanwhile, Ji-soo Lee and Sae-him Park will play the character known as “Her,” contributing to the emotional arc of the story. Hyun-chul Seo, Jung-yeol Lee, and Chang-seok Go will appear as the operations chief, a figure who observes events over several decades.

‘The Days’ is a jukebox musical built around songs by the late Kim Kwang-seok, known for music that continues to resonate across generations. The production aims to present a renewed interpretation through this staging.

The musical is scheduled to run from June 9 to August 23.
