Actress Jang Da Ah is set to appear in the upcoming film ‘Cherry boy,’ following growing attention from her recent work.

‘Cherry boy’ is a romance film centered on Ok-hee, a high school student in rural Gangwon Province who secretly writes adult fiction to save money for college in Seoul. When transfer student Ri-hwan arrives from the city, she experiences her first love. Lee Jae-in plays Ok-hee, while Kim Moo-joon takes on the role of Ri-hwan.

Jang Da Ah joins the cast as Jeong-suk, Ok-hee’s close friend who dreams of becoming an entertainer. The character adds another perspective to the coming-of-age narrative.

She recently gained attention through ‘Salmokji: Whispering Water,’ which has maintained the top spot at the box office. Directed by Lee Sang-min, the film follows a street-view filming crew encountering unexplained events near a reservoir. Kim Hye-yoon leads the cast.

With ‘Cherry boy,’ attention is on how Jang Da Ah will continue building her filmography.
