Aina of the group Hearts2Hearts is stepping down from her MC role on MBC’s Show! Music Core.
On the 27th, MBC announced that Aina will wrap up her hosting duties after the May 2 broadcast of Show! Music Core. She is departing about one year and two months after joining as an MC in March 2025.
Aina drew major attention by being selected as a music show MC at the time of her debut. She later built chemistry with Andable’s Kim Gyu-bin and TWS’s Dohoon, and the trio was affectionately dubbed ‘Konghaetto’ by fans.
Ahead of her final broadcast, Aina shared, "Taking on such a big role right after debut, I had many shortcomings, but I’m grateful to the fans who always cheered me on and to the production team who believed in and guided me." She added, "This may be my last farewell as an MC, but as Aina of Hearts2Hearts, I’ll show you even newer and more diverse sides of me," and "The past one year and two months have truly been a happy time."
Her successor as MC has not yet been decided.
Meanwhile, Aina’s final episode of Show! Music Core will air on May 2 at 3:20 p.m.
