The “melodrama queen” and trending star Park Eun-bin is set to return to the small screen alongside Yang Se-jong and Ong Seong-wu.
On the 30th, the team behind tvN’s new Saturday–Sunday drama Spellbound unveiled the script reading, spotlighting the trio’s flawless chemistry.
In Spellbound, Park Eun-bin plays Cheon Yeori, a chaebol heiress who can see ghosts. Yang Se-jong becomes a passionate prosecutor who is absolutely terrified of them, and together the two lead a sweet yet chilling occult romance. Ong Seong-wu portrays Kang Min-hwan, the CEO of CL Raymond Hotel, a man who hides burning ambition behind gentle manners, injecting taut tension into the story.
The production team shared, “Spellbound follows a woman who hears voices others can’t and a man who chases hidden truths as they dig into the secrets of death and come to realize their true feelings for each other,” adding, “Please look forward to the unique chemistry between a ghost-seeing chaebol heiress and a hot-blooded prosecutor who is deathly afraid of ghosts.”
Billed as the perfect “in-season summer romance” to beat the heat, Spellbound will premiere this July.
