Lim Young-woong is making a soothing, must-watch TV comeback with a healing reality program.
On the 6th, his agency Mulgogi Music announced, "Lim Young-woong has confirmed his appearance on the SBS variety show Seomchonggak Young-woong Season 2."
Seomchonggak Young-woong is a reality show set in a quiet island village, capturing Lim as he lives self-sufficiently with friends. Its unvarnished daily moments, human charm, and sincere camaraderie among the cast earned it praise as a healing watch.
Season 1, which aired last August, ran as a four-episode series. YouTuber Gwedo, chef Im Tae-hoon, actor Lee Yi-kyung, and comedian Heo Kyung-hwan joined the lineup, serving up unexpected chemistry. Notably, the finale topped its time slot in ratings, closing on a high note. The broadcast teased a follow-up with the message, "We’ll be back when we miss our hometown," raising anticipation for the next season.
The new Season 2 will welcome a refreshed roster, promising an expanded storyline and deeper relationships. The production team hinted at a different rhythm with new faces and expressed confidence in delivering even richer content.
Meanwhile, Lim Young-woong is gearing up for his solo concert 'THE STADIUM 2' this September. Beyond singing, he’s expected to stay busy across variety and more.
The detailed broadcast schedule for Seomchonggak Young-woong Season 2 will be announced later.
