Singer Nam Gyu-ri is set to lay it all bare — from the behind-the-scenes of SeeYa’s reunion to the first performance of their new track — in a can’t-miss broadcast.
The May 6 episode of MBC variety show Radio Star features Choi Daniel, Nam Gyu-ri, Ahn Ji-young, and Beomgyu in the special titled 'Nice to Meet You, Eye Shine.' On air, Nam Gyu-ri candidly opens up about the years following the halt of SeeYa’s activities and the journey that led to their reunion.
Debuting in 2006, SeeYa earned massive love with hits like 'Scent of a Woman,' 'Shoes,' and 'Love Greeting,' before abruptly ending group activities in 2011 — leaving fans heartbroken. Nam Gyu-ri revisits what happened then and shares her honest feelings about reuniting with the members today.
Nam Gyu-ri will also premiere, for the first time on air, a new track from SeeYa’s first full-length comeback in 15 years. While recalling the recording process with the members after so long, she becomes overwhelmed with emotion and sheds tears, creating a moving atmosphere in the studio.
