BOL4's Ahn Ji-young sparked buzz with a surprisingly candid chat about her string of hits and how much they earn.

The May 6 broadcast of MBC variety show Radio Star featured Choi Daniel, Nam Gyu-ri, Ahn Ji-young, and TXT's Beomgyu as guests for a special themed "Nice To Meet You, Eyes Shining."

On the show, Ahn ran through her songs that reliably resurface every season: "In spring, 'Bom'; in summer, 'Travel'; in fall, 'Some'; and in winter, 'Tell Me You Love Me' keep getting love." Host Kim Gu-ra asked, "Isn't that on the level of Busker Busker?" Ahn answered with a smile, leaving a playful aftertaste.

She then dropped a jaw-dropping stat: she has nine songs with over 100 million streams. Naming 'Travel' as her biggest breakout, she said it's so ubiquitous "you can even hear it on planes," underlining just how massive the hit is.

The conversation naturally turned to royalties. When Nam Gyu-ri asked how much streaming actually brings in, Ahn quipped, "If a song like 'Samgyeopsal-a' ('Pork Belly') that you sang goes mega-viral, you'd make a lot," deflecting any exact figures with wit and charm.

Marking her 10th anniversary, Ahn also teased a special gift for fans: "I'm planning to rearrange and release an unreleased track I worked on 10 years ago," she said, describing it as a "soft, fluffy, and cute vibe that fits spring perfectly."

Meanwhile, BOL4 first made a name on Mnet's audition program Superstar K6 in 2014. Although the act had four members on the show, by the time they released their first full album 'Red Planet' (RED PLANET) in 2016, only Ahn Ji-young and Woo Ji-yoon were credited as BOL4. In 2020, Woo Ji-yoon departed, and BOL4 became Ahn Ji-young's one-woman project.
