Girls’ Generation members Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung—now promoting as HyoriSoo—opened up about their new unit and candidly brought up Tiffany, who recently tied the knot.
On the May 6 broadcast of the tvN variety show You Quiz on the Block, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung appeared as HyoriSoo, delivering lively banter and fresh updates on the team. During the show, the trio naturally shifted the conversation to Tiffany, who recently married actor Byun Yo-han.
Hyoyeon said with a laugh, "Honestly, we should’ve done this sooner. Someone had to go first." She added a dose of reality: "We’re not getting any younger." Yuri also shared, "After Tiffany’s wedding, it felt like every member thought about marriage at least once."
The talk soon turned to Hyoyeon’s personal hopes. "I’ve always dreamed of having many children. I love kids," she revealed, expressing her eagerness to marry. She then joked, "If that’s the plan, I should probably start dating soon," making everyone laugh.
When Yoo Jae-suk asked, "So are you up next, Hyoyeon?" she hesitated for a moment before declaring, "I believe words come true. I think I’m next," confidently drawing attention.
The members also discussed HyoriSoo’s activities. The three delivered an impromptu performance on the spot, signaling the start of a new unit. Hyoyeon admitted, "We started this just for laughs, but it snowballed. I didn’t think it would even make it onto TV," surprised by the buzz.
They also shared Taeyeon’s reaction, who’s part of the existing unit TaeTiSeo. Hyoyeon confessed, "Taeyeon still doesn’t seem to care about us," adding, "I wanted her to take the bait, but I ended up being the one who got riled up," which had everyone in stitches.
