Davichi member Kang Min Kyung directly addressed the brewing controversy over how her travel vlog was filmed.

She recently uploaded a video titled 'A Lone Trip To Shanghai At 36' on her YouTube channel, showing herself traveling solo through Shanghai — freely moving between restaurants, streets, and her accommodation.

However, some viewers questioned certain cuts. Regarding an exterior angle that appeared to film the inside of a restaurant, reactions included: "Wasn’t a third person filming?" and "Didn’t staff accompany her?"

In a pinned comment, Kang offered clarification: "I’ve been fighting to capture my vlogs entirely on my own for nine years now. You’d think people would recognize that by now, but I guess there’s still a long way to go."

Addressing the disputed scene, she explained, "I briefly set up a mini tripod outside the restaurant to shoot it." She added, "Shanghai, like Europe, doesn’t have a high risk of pickpocketing, so that angle was doable."

She concluded, "I’m leaving a longer explanation because some people said that calling it a 'lone trip' didn’t make sense if staff were with me. If it hadn’t been a solo trip, I wouldn’t have insisted on calling it that."

Meanwhile, Kang Min Kyung debuted as Davichi with Lee Hae Ri in 2008. Beyond her main career as a singer, she remains active across various channels, including her online shop and YouTube.
