AHOF's on-site filming with a flash at a baseball game sparked viral controversy on Global K-snapp.
On the 14th, members Steven and Zuen were invited to Daegu Samsung Lions Park as the ceremonial first pitcher and ceremonial hitter for the Samsung Lions vs. SSG Landers game. After the ceremony, they watched the game with other members.
The issue arose when AHOF filmed their own content from the stands. Members continued recording with the flash on, drawing a wave of criticism from fans.
Baseball fans condemned the move, saying, "Using a flash or strong lighting during play is bad etiquette and can obstruct players' vision."
As backlash mounted, AHOF's agency F&F Entertainment bowed its head on the 15th via its official social media, stating, "We sincerely apologize to the players and spectators who were inconvenienced by our artist's filming at the baseball game on the 14th." The agency added, "We failed to fully consider in advance that it could interfere with the game and the viewing experience," and pledged, "We will thoroughly learn and follow on-site rules and etiquette to prevent a recurrence."
Meanwhile, AHOF is a multinational boy group formed through the SBS audition program Universe League, and they debuted last July. The group is set to release their third mini album this coming July.
