Legendary actor Choi Min Sik and rising star Choi Hyun Wook are reportedly set to meet national MC Yoo Jae Suk.
According to News1 on the 13th, Choi Min Sik and Choi Hyun Wook will appear on YouTube channel DdeunDdeun’s hit web variety show Just an Excuse.
Recording is reportedly scheduled for early June. Just an Excuse is a talk-format program where Yoo Jae Suk chats freely with his acquaintances, and thanks to its comfortably candid vibe, it’s become a go-to promo stop where top stars reveal their “unfiltered charm.”
The timing lines up with the upcoming Netflix series Notes from the Last Row. The duo is expected to dish on a variety of behind-the-scenes stories from set and show their down-to-earth sides outside the project as well.
Fans are especially hyped because Choi Min Sik previously delivered flawless chemistry with Yoo Jae Suk on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, and the two will be reuniting once again. Adding to the buzz, Choi Hyun Wook—who recently showed unexpected variety talent and lovable clumsiness on tvN’s After School Teacher Taeri—will join them, setting the stage for fresh synergy between a screen legend and today’s it-actor.
The project the two star in together, Notes from the Last Row, follows Heo Moon Oh (played by Choi Min Sik), a failed writer-turned-professor, who discovers the genius of his student Lee Kang (played by Choi Hyun Wook) sitting in the very last row of the lecture hall.
