Tomorrow X Together (TXT) have earned a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), once again underscoring their overwhelming popularity in the market.

According to the RIAJ on the 15th, TXT’s 8th mini album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Paused in the Thorns' surpassed 250,000 cumulative shipments as of April, earning a Gold Disc Platinum certification. With this, TXT have now received Gold Disc certifications for a total of 16 albums.

The RIAJ grants different certification levels each month based on an album’s shipment volume. Among these, Platinum is awarded to releases with over 250,000 units shipped.

Earlier, the album also swept a triple crown on the Oricon charts dated April 27, delivering stunning results. In particular, it notched TXT’s 14th No. 1 on the 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking,' tying the all-time record for the most No. 1s among both Japanese and international artists.

Meanwhile, to celebrate their 7th debut anniversary, TXT are preparing a special concert. Kicking off on the 23rd in Aichi, the tour will hold eight shows across four cities including Chiba, Fukuoka, and Hyogo. The May 24 Aichi show will be broadcast via live viewing in 53 countries and regions worldwide.
