Rapper-producer MC Mong went live on TikTok to fiercely deny affair rumors and other accusations surrounding him, while unleashing his side of the story about escalating internal conflicts with ONEHUNDRED Chairman Cha Gawon. He even called out real names tied to alleged illegal gambling, sending shockwaves across K-ent. The livestream drew more than 220,000 viewers.

During the May 18 TikTok live, MC Mong drew a hard line on the alleged affair with Chairman Cha, saying, "None of it is true." He claimed he was pushed out of company duties after a major clash with Cha over management style. He further alleged that Cha’s paternal uncle, Mr. A, distorted photos of him and his girlfriend into prostitution accusations and used them to pressure him over equity issues. While admitting he reacted emotionally at times, he doubled down: "The affair rumor itself is clearly false."

At one point, MC Mong described Chairman Cha as "in some ways a pitiful person." Citing large-scale investments tied to ONEHUNDRED, he argued that today’s feud stems largely from management differences rather than personal grudges. Pointing to spending on Baekhyun’s solo album, rookie group BADVILLAIN, and the recruitment of THE BOYZ, he insisted, "When this kind of money is being spent, the idea that I gambled with company funds makes no sense."

MC Mong also blasted MBC’s current affairs program PD Note. He said the production team requested his stance on gambling allegations and the use of advances, to which he responded, "You can disclose all my bank accounts. The claim that I gambled with company money cannot stand." He further suggested that tips and reporting about him were based on one-sided assertions from a particular faction.

He then dropped an explosive claim about an illegal gambling circle known as "Baduk-i." MC Mong alleged that figures linked to Chairman Cha and others were involved in high-stakes gambling and nightlife—and he directly mentioned singer Kim Min-jong and the former agency chief of Kim Ho-joong by name. He hinted there could be a second wave of exposés implicating more celebrities. However, these statements are, as of now, MC Mong’s unilateral claims and have not been officially verified.

The dispute involving ONEHUNDRED and THE BOYZ also resurfaced. MC Mong asserted that the company paid 1.5 billion KRW per member—15 members totaling 16.5 billion KRW—in signing fees, arguing that the artists were offered sufficient terms even as tensions escalated. In contrast, THE BOYZ members have long contended that trust broke down over settlements and support, and a court previously granted their injunction request.

Ultimately, the livestream served as a direct counterattack—MC Mong’s attempt to rebut allegations while targeting the individuals and structures around him. Depending on how the named parties respond, the controversy could intensify. With most key claims from the broadcast still unverified, additional evidence and follow-up actions will likely decide where this saga goes next.
