Allegations of an affair involving a contestant on a currently airing, high-profile dating reality show are spreading rapidly online, igniting fierce controversy.
The storm began on June 6 with a post on Blind, an anonymous workplace community. The self-described whistleblower published a post titled 'Moral Vetting Failure of a Dating Reality Contestant,' raising allegations against a cast member referred to as A.
The poster claimed, "A maintained an inappropriate relationship with B, a married man with children, and continued dating despite the spouse’s request to end it." They further alleged the two lived together and that B’s family ultimately fell apart as a result.
The post also asserted that B’s spouse filed a damages lawsuit against A as the alleged affair partner. The writer added that A not only failed to apologize to the victim but also committed secondary harm by mentioning the possibility of filing a criminal complaint.
It was additionally alleged that A joined the dating reality program without disclosing the situation and, even during the group-lodging shoot, met B off-site before returning to the cast dorm.
The post included what appeared to be a CCTV still showing a man and woman believed to be A and B engaging in physical contact inside an elevator. The claims spread quickly across online communities and social media, drawing massive attention.
However, the original post has since been deleted, and none of the claims or attached materials have been officially verified.
As the controversy intensified, the show’s production team moved to fact-check the situation. On the 8th, a program representative told multiple outlets, "We are currently checking the matter with the people involved."
