Viral moment: Former LOONA member Chuu is making headlines after effortlessly shutting down hate comments with quick wit — turning a snide "princess syndrome" jab and even an age dig into playful comebacks that won over the internet.
Recently, a video of Chuu performing at the State University of New York Korea campus festival spread across online communities and social media. On stage, she engaged the crowd from start to finish, radiating bright energy. With her signature bubbly charm and mischievous gestures, she amped up the atmosphere and lived up to her nickname as a real-life "human vitamin."
But some comments under a few clips were sharper in tone. When one user sneered, "Is she acting like a princess?", Chuu coolly replied, "Just a princess." The brief yet confident clapback quickly went viral.
Another user wrote, "You'll be done once you get older," to which Chuu cheerfully answered, "I'll still look cute even when I get older."
Viewers rallied behind her, leaving comments like "Exactly, Chuu is a real princess," "So satisfying," and "Overflowing with charm," as they cheered her on.
Debuting with LOONA in 2017, Chuu left the team in 2022 and is now active as a solo artist. This January, she released her first full-length album 'XO, My Cyberlove,' showcasing a broader musical spectrum.
Most recently, she expanded into acting, being cast as the lead Eun-woo in the short drama Gwangan.
