tvN will air a special commemorating the 10th anniversary of the 2016 phenomenon with a program titled the 'Goblin' 10th Anniversary Trip. Planned as a special edition for tvN’s 20th anniversary, the project follows the four stars at the heart of the series as they head to Gangneung in Gangwon Province.
The teaser released on the 22nd captures the warm, long-awaited reunion. Against the backdrop of Gangneung’s sea, Gong Yoo says, "Let’s have fun today," while Kim Go-eun marvels, "We’re back after 10 years," making the passage of time feel real. Lee Dong-wook reacts, "Has it really been 10 years already?" and Yoo In-na adds, "It doesn’t feel all that different from back then."
The four visit the iconic Jumunjin breakwater, a key location in the drama. It’s where Ji Eun-tak (played by Kim Go-eun) first summoned the goblin—an unforgettable scene for fans—so viewers can expect a flood of memories as those moments are revisited. The teaser also heightens the nostalgia with Crush’s representative OST 'Beautiful,' plus symbolic touches like the red scarf and buckwheat flowers.
When it aired, 'Goblin' shattered records as the first cable K-Drama to surpass a 20% viewership rating, sparking a nationwide syndrome.
