Ex-husband Jin Sun-kyu and current husband Gong Myung have formed the most awkward, tense alliance — and it’s already turning heads.

On the 28th, the Netflix film Husbands unveiled character stills featuring Jin Sun-kyu, Gong Myung, Kim Ji-seok, and Yoon Kyung-ho.

Husbands is a comedy-action movie about an unpredictable rescue mission led by an ex-husband and a current husband who begrudgingly team up to save their wife after she’s kidnapped by a crime syndicate.

The newly released stills spotlight four sharply distinct personalities: ex-husband Chungsik (played by Jin Sun-kyu), current husband Minseok (Gong Myung), the high-tech drug ring’s boss Do-jun (Kim Ji-seok), and Yong-gang (Yoon Kyung-ho), leader of the once-dominant Yonggang crew — instantly grabbing attention with their contrasting vibes.

Narcotics ace detective Chungsik appears inside a warehouse, gripping handcuffs as he prepares to make an arrest. Known for cuffing perps faster than they can blink, he flashes a sly grin in a back alley — hinting at the humanity and surprising charm beneath his hard-edged charisma.

The young, handsome veterinarian Minseok draws eyes with his warm demeanor as he joins volunteers at a puppy rescue scene. Yet another still shows him alone in a dim car, scanning the situation with tense focus — raising curiosity about how he’ll perform after being thrust into the rescue operation.

Do-jun, the boss of a next-gen crime syndicate that dominates the drug market with cutting-edge tech, commands the frame in a striking purple suit at the center of a logistics warehouse. Even in a patrol car, his unwavering stare exudes dominance. While he may look flippant on the surface, he’s ready to go through fire and water for the woman he loves — teasing a drastic, unexpected side.

Lastly, Yong-gang — the Yonggang crew’s leader who’s back on the streets after 10 years — radiates weighty charisma as he rules his underlings in the pouring rain. In contrast, his old-school shirt and raised glass deliver a bittersweetly funny vibe, revealing a man bearing the years and plotting a comeback, adding a fresh layer of fun to the story.

With tangled relationships and snappy, tiki-taka chemistry on full display, Husbands is shaping up to be a true “character powerhouse.” The film drops exclusively on Netflix on June 19.
