NCT member Doyoung has donated 100 million KRW to support suicide prevention and mental health initiatives.
On the 29th, the Korea Life Respect and Hope Foundation announced, "Doyoung made a designated donation of 100 million KRW to support suicide crisis intervention for service members of the Republic of Korea and for children and teens bereaved by suicide."
The donation will fund programs that help military personnel and families who have experienced sudden loss, including projects focused on mental health recovery for those bereaved by intentional self-harm.
Doyoung shared, "One thing I often tell fans is, 'Tomorrow will definitely be happier than today.' There are days that feel overwhelming and tough, but in the end, tomorrow moves in a warmer, happier direction than today. I hope this donation delivers my support and becomes a source of strength so everyone can find the courage to carry on."
Over the years, Doyoung has consistently spread positive influence through his good deeds. Last year, he also donated 100 million KRW to support youths preparing for independent living and children under protective care.
