Actor Kim Do-wan is set to appear in the same project as Park Eun-bin, Yang Se-jong, and Ong Seong-wu.
tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama Spooky in Love is an occult romantic comedy that thrillingly follows a chaebol heiress who can see ghosts and a hot-blooded prosecutor who is terrified of them.
Kim Do-wan plays Park Seung-jae, a pro golfer and the only son of a powerful figure at the pinnacle of South Korea’s elite power cartel. Park Seung-jae will serve as the main villain, locking horns with fiery prosecutor Kang Uk (played by Yang Se-jong) and cranking up the tension. Leaning on his signature delicate emotional range and three-dimensional expressiveness, Kim is expected to showcase an icy new charisma that leaves a powerful impression on viewers.
Having proven his wide acting spectrum across genres, Kim Do-wan is attempting another bold transformation with this role. In particular, it marks his first reunion with Ong Seong-wu in the same project since JTBC’s 2019 series At Eighteen, heightening fans’ anticipation for the on-screen synergy the two will create.
Meanwhile, SSpooky in Love, set to deliver both heart-fluttering romance and spine-chilling thrills to the small screen this summer, will premiere on July 18 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
