Influencer Yoo Hye-won drew attention after she shared a cryptic video in the wake of a controversy over leaked posts containing rumors about her.
On the 7th, Yoo Hye-won uploaded a portion of rapper-actor Swings’s livestream to her Instagram Story without any explanation. The clip came from a past livestream Swings held amid tensions with rapper BIG Naughty. In the video, Swings voiced his frustration, saying, "I don’t want to get exhausted over stuff like this. I just don’t get why this is happening."
The timing of Yoo Hye-won’s post stood out. It came right after the online leak of private SNS posts by Kim Ji-min, who appeared on Channel A’s dating reality show Heart Signal 4, which quickly set off wider controversy.
Those posts, which spread across online communities and social media, reportedly included entries Kim had limited to her Close Friends list. Among them were personal remarks referencing Yoo Hye-won, further fueling the fallout.
The leaked material allegedly claimed that while Yoo Hye-won was dating a basketball player, she was also receiving "support" from a famous singer-producer. None of these claims have been verified.
Additionally, so-called "sponsor rumors" involving Park Hee-seon, who appeared on Netflix’s dating reality show Single’s Inferno 5, were mentioned, intensifying the controversy. Park announced a hardline response: "The spread of false information and defamation, as well as reckless dissemination, are clearly illegal," adding, "We are checking the related posts and distribution routes with our legal team."
Park further stressed their legal stance regarding the rumor: "We filed a criminal complaint for spreading false information in January, and in April the suspect was forwarded to the prosecution," reiterating an intent to take action.
In contrast, Yoo Hye-won has not issued an official statement regarding the controversy over Kim Ji-min’s leaked SNS posts. However, some netizens believe her sharing Swings’s remarks was an indirect expression of discomfort with the rumors surrounding her.
Amid the uproar, Kim Ji-min, at the center of the controversy, posted a handwritten apology. "I’m sorry for causing concern to so many people with posts I wrote in a private space," she wrote. "I apologize to those who were hurt by content whose facts were not clearly verified." She continued, "I also deeply apologize to other artists who experienced discomfort because of my careless remarks. Even though it was a limited space, I deeply reflect on causing trouble while sharing personal opinions."
As the leak of Kim Ji-min’s private SNS posts snowballs into multiple personal-life rumors, attention is now on further statements from those involved and whether they will pursue legal action.
