Comedian Hyungbin Yoon has directly addressed rumors of marital discord and divorce with his wife, Kyungmi Jung.
Recently, the YouTube channel B-Grade Studio released a lighthearted video where comedians Hyungbin Yoon, Jonghoon Lee, and Jiho Kim shared updates and talked about married life. In the video, Seongmin Choi jokingly asked Yoon, "Did you get divorced?" Yoon immediately responded, "What are you talking about? We're doing fine—why would you say that?" showing clear disbelief.
Speculation about the couple began after their joint TV appearances decreased. In the past, Yoon would proclaim "Jung Kyungmi forever" on KBS2's variety show Gag Concert, but as their joint appearances dwindled after marriage, some started pushing rumors of discord. Yoon explained, "I'm okay with it, but my wife isn't." He added, "When we go on shows together, to get laughs she ends up sharing unflattering stories about me—because that's what makes it fun. But as those stories kept getting turned into articles, we started turning down offers."
Yoon also shared a realistic view of married life. "Once you're married, you realize it's less about fiery passion and more like a steady, low-heat simmer in an earthenware pot—being there for each other without making a fuss," he said, showing the calm affection of a couple in their 14th year.
Kyungmi Jung had previously addressed the rumors herself on air. On KBS2's variety show Malja Show, she said, "Because of something Hyungbin said on YouTube, it got reported like we were having issues," stressing, "We're very happy and doing great." When asked, "Does Hyungbin come home on time?" she wittily replied, "He came home just fine yesterday," drawing laughter.
The talk started when Yoon candidly shared concerns about married life. In a past YouTube video, he said, "I'm pretty stubborn, so if I'd married someone else, we might have broken up," and, "Because it's Kyungmi Jung, she keeps me in check and helps us make it work." He also opened up about parenting and marital conflicts, reflecting on areas where he could do better.
However, some corners of the internet and certain articles blew those confessions out of proportion, spiraling into rumors of discord and even divorce. In response, both Jung and Yoon drew a clear line on TV and YouTube, saying, "Nothing's going on."
The couple married in 2013 and have one son and one daughter.
