Actors Yoo Hae-jin and Son Ye-jin clinched Best Actor and Best Actress at the 46th Golden Cinematography Awards, proving once again why they are among Korea's most celebrated stars.

At the June 8 ceremony, Yoo Hae-jin and Son Ye-jin each lifted the top acting trophies for the films The King's Warden and It can't be helped, respectively.

'The King's Warden' dominated the night. It swept four major categories — Best Picture, Best Director (Jang Hang-jun), Best Actor (Yoo Hae-jin), and Best Supporting Actor (Yoo Ji-tae) — pulling off a stunning four-trophy run.

Accepting Best Director, Jang Hang-jun shared an emotional speech and credited his colleagues. Turning to Yoo Hae-jin and Yoo Ji-tae, who attended the ceremony with him, he said, "To Yoo Hae-jin, a rock on set and a dependable friend, and to Yoo Ji-tae for his outstanding performance, and to the many actors — I am deeply grateful," warming the room with heartfelt thanks.

Best Supporting awards went to Shin Hyun-bin of the film Face and to Yoo Ji-tae of 'The King's Warden.' In the Popularity Award — a particularly meaningful honor chosen directly by cinematographers — actor Han Sun-hwa and Netflix series Bloodhounds Season 2 star Jung Ji-hoon were selected. The Jury's Special Award was jointly given to Gong Min-jung and Lee Dong-hwi for their compelling work in the film Method acting.

Honors also went to standout talents from TV and OTT. The Special Acting Award in the OTT series category went to Woo Do-hwan of Bloodhounds Season 2, while the drama category's Special Acting Award went to Lee Joo-bin of tvN's Monday–Tuesday drama Spring Fever.

Rising stars of the film world also drew attention. The Best New Director award went to director Shin Joon for THE FAVOR, while the once-in-a-lifetime Best New Actor and Best New Actress honors were awarded to Moon Sang-min — making his film debut — for Pavane, and to Shin Eun-soo for Love Untangled.
